About the Book “To Free A Muse”
My first book is a 115 page book called To Free a Muse.
What if you could choose your own destiny? To Free a Muse, is a fantasy world inspired by the works of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Lewis Carroll and L. Frank Baum. Ariel is a muse who struggles to find her own creative identity without her writer as she seeks her freedom. No longer wanting to be captive to her writer’s whims, she inadvertently locks herself away in a section of her writer’s mind, refusing to create new stories. She soon discovers she has lost her powers to create without her writer. Ariel must decide who and what she wants to be. Along the way she develops friendships with the very wise Rosmarus, a walrus whose dreams come to life and the mischievous Hudson, a squirrel with questionable values, who in their own ways help her to discover who it is she really wants to be.
The intended audience is pre-teen/young adult but anyone would enjoy this story. I am currently looking for a publisher but hope to be moving onto my next project soon!
